I am narrowing down a selection of new fractals inspired by the Sierpinski fractal. They consist of circular shapes diminishing in size to form the infamous triangular patterns. If you look closely, you’ll find peace symbols on one of the patterns. I will be adding the new artwork to my Etsy shop soon. Edit: I’ve created a gold variation using the same pattern. I really like how it turned out, so I added it to my Sierpinski set. The entire set is now available at my Etsy shop.

I created this design a while back. I always liked it and thought I’d give it an update. It resembles a snowflake. I made a collage out of it. It looks stunning and makes for interesting backgrounds on many items. The design is available as a digital download and mouse pad on Etsy.

These are recent designs from the 2022 summer season. They use primary colors, red, green and blue arranged with overlapping squares and rectangles of varying opacity. In such, other bright colors are formed. It has been suggested that bright colors evoke an emotional response for some. It may be akin to drinking a cup of coffee while others may feel a calming sensation. They are now available for purchase on Etsy.

It’s been a while since I’ve updated my art gallery page. I’ve since numerous mouse pads. The following mouse pads are available on Etsy. They include two camouflage, one that looks “alien-like” to me, a classic swirl design that has a subtle flower-like pattern in the center, and a design that looks like a lion’s mane.

The new batch of mouse pads have arrived. The following photos show three designs. The monochromatic design with triangles was created when I took some classes at Bakersfield College. The triangles are arranged in the formation of a galaxy. It’s a simplistic design. The next one is described as mysterious gravity waves, because that’s what it looks like to me. If you look at it with a black light it brings out the pattern quite vividly. The mouse pad with overlapping circles of varying colors exhibits shapes emerging such as triangles and other two dimensional polygons.

I’ve ordered another batch of mouse pads, they will arrive soon. In the meantime, I was experimenting with other items. Shutterfly had a sale recently, so I had a shot glass and playing cards made with my art designs. I was able to play with the lighting on a shot glass photo using a black light. It looks striking, in my opinion.

I created a bunch more mouse pads. I was having to request remakes on some of them. I’m selling only the ones that look pristine, or as pristine as it’s going to get. I’m getting visitors and a buyer now and again. It’s so much fun seeing this type of activity!

I purchased 10 mouse pads, customized with some of my Gerdecor designs. They definitely seem suitable for this purpose. I’ve listed them on Etsy, and hope that it will generate some visitors, if not buyers.

I’ve purchased some items to demonstrate the potential of my artwork. Specifically, I’ve purchased some mouse pads and a coffee mug. Very simple items, but ideal for the designs I’ve created. I like how they turned out. I’m going to purchase more items and will publish photos of them on this page.

I was experimenting with these patterns. They started to look like something I’ve seen before. I continued to tweak the numbers of the fractal design. It looked celestial in nature. Perhaps like gravitational waves emanating from super dense objects, or perhaps from stars that have gone super nova. In the end I came up with a design that has a white pattern on a black background. Perhaps I’ll create other patterns from this genre. It is now available for purchase on Etsy.

I’ve been using some of my art as backgrounds for a tablet. They can also be used for smartphones and similar devices. The blue, circular on black background pattern has a (3D) raised effect. I thought I’d share some on this page. Here are some examples:

I recently purchased a hard drive for my NAS that stores many of my videos taken with my GoPro camera.  It included a coupon code for Shutterfly.  They make all sorts of photo books, prints, and such.  They can make mugs with photos printed on them.  So, I decided to upload some of my artwork to see how they would look.  I knew it would work well, and I was right.  My designs can be used for so many purposes, this is just one.  I hope this gives you ideas.  If you have any suggestions.  Let me know.  In the meantime, I’m going to look into other services that can pre-render my artwork onto physical products.  I’ll post them here.

Edit (02-16-2020):
I’ve added some new images. Here are some of my simple designs applied to soda cups. They are minimalist patterns and seem to work well.

(01-05-2020)

I’ve been working on a pattern that I stumbled upon in the past few weeks. The first one looked like granite to me. It consisted of interconnecting and overlapping circles using a 6-sided (hexagonal) algorithm, using shades of blue. After using slightly different settings I was able to stumble upon, what appears to be, camouflage. I used earth-tone colors, typical of camo clothing. In fact, I used the exact colors, as per a link that I found on the internet. It consists of many overlapping squares and interconnecting lines, just like the granite pattern. When viewing the un-edited image, you can zoom in without loss of quality. In other words, the block-like patterns just gets bigger and bigger and the lines are perfectly filled and straight. I tried to replicate the pattern in other colors, but it didn’t translate well. So, I changed the interconnecting shapes from squares to circles. This resulted in a pattern that looks like marine life that live off rocks. It’s somewhat camouflage in appearance, in that it replicates the appearance of natural phenomena.

Here are some designs I’ve been working on circa September – October 2019
